There is no excuse for this kind of B.S. This guy deserves a long time behind bars to atone for his actions!!!

What took them so long for the indictment ? I knew the trial would take awhile to set up but 4 months for charges?

In Texas the State has 180 days to indict. They only have 90 days to announce ready or they have to either lower the bond amount or release on a PR bond.

Capt Gregory Prickett - ok so within 48 hours they must charge him, right? why would it take so long to indict him? it seems like a done case against him. Court backlog?

SGT Jim Arnold - There's no requirement to formally charge someone within 48 hours. They do have to be arraigned within 48 to 72 hours of the arrest.
