Sad story. If she wasn't drunk in public she would nto have been arrested but once she was, police should have done a better job of ensuring her safety once she was in custody.

One of the Marines I served with died in custody a couple of years ago. He had a seizure and hit his head.

This is part of the reason why PD is sending so many alcohol related incidents with EMS instead of taking them directly into custody.
