A boycott may be more dignified than shouting, "You Lie!", during State of Union

2009: Joe Wilson shouts 'You lie!' at then-President Obama
U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., shouted 'You lie!' at then-President Barack Obama during a joint address of Congress in 2009.

No they are saying it is a protest over the President because it goes over better with their electorate. However look at the past attendence record of Rep Elijah Cummings (D-MD) and soon it becomes apparent the POTUS could be Jesus Christ and he would still not show up for the event. He just would rather not be there and has nothing to do with POTUS. He has skipped a number of past inagurals as well. Though the Main Stream Media like CNN and MSDNC will highlight the protest this year and not mention past absences under past Presidents. Part of the scam of being a Democrat.

Right on.
But below is a list of some of the notable recent state of union boycotts.
2016. Ted Cruz (R)
2012. Doug Lamborn (R)
2000. Every Member of the Supreme Court
1999. John Shadegg (R)
1999. Bob Schaffer (R)
1999. Bob Barr (R)
1999. Tom Tancredo (R)
1998. Larry Craig (R)
Those must’ve all been pranks by right to continue their propaganda. (Maybe, Yes. Both sides push propaganda and act childishly. Rarely though, does anyone on either side acknowledge that they’re actually capable of such f*ckery).

SGT (Join to see) - Agree and I knew it went further than Cummings. I just think the majority only attend out of a sense of duty but think it is really boring to be there.

And next they will say they are willing to work with the president. What a joke.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - Well, at least he meets with them and tries. Can't wotk with people who say they are willing to work but publicly refuse to even be in the same room. Sorry but, they have shown their true attitude.

Capt (Join to see) Also can't work with someone who walks out of the room when he gets an answer he doesn't like.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - Ah, come on Col Saw that in the Air Force many times. And that is still better than refusing to even go in the room.
