We've been talking about crumbling infrastructure literally for decades. We're like the guy who won't spend $5,000 to get a new roof so instead after several years he has to pay $15,000 for the new roof and to repair all the damage the old leaky roof caused.

We are the masters of penny wise pound foolish.

There are many parts of this bill that will be great for the nation (not including the top 1%). I would prefer to see this broke down into separate bills, but we all know the obstructionist Republicans would block ever one of them. All they are concerned about is non-existent voter fraud. They have no other policy.
So, best of luck to President Biden and the Democrats that are least trying to help the nation.

A lot of money is going to float around and be spent on some crooked deals.
