Damn shame. Now here comes the Obama purge comments rather than looking at the fact that many of these "purged" screwed up royally and got what they asked for. He should've been hooked up for drinking and driving. It's a moot point now, but how many Sailors has he sent packing from that, and he does the same thing too? Welcome to the retired life Mr. Simmons.

Commodore used to be an O-7 now it is more of a title (It was always a title of someone in charge of more than one ship).

Sorry to tell you folks this, but if you didn't realize it, this is the same in most senior levels in the corporate world. They don't believe the rules apply to them. Unfortunately, for the most part, they don't, unless their transgressions are made public as this one was.

MCPO Roger Collins - I'm still waiting to find out (for certain) what the CG of the Big Red One & Ft Riley was relieved for. I'm hearing it was for fiddling outside his family but inside the division ... if you get my drift.
