DHS, DoD, NIH, State Department reportedly hit by Russian hackers

The US-based network management software company Solar Winds' products, was confirmed to be used to install malware in a cyberattack on businesses and government agencies worldwide.

The Department of Homeland Security's The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) said government agencies, critical infrastructure entities, and private sector organizations had been targeted by what it called an “advanced persistent threat actor.”
