I once backed the tribes but after extensive research have changed sides.

1: it is not on tribal land
2: Does not effect their drinking water
3: The tribe originally agreed to the location
4: There was no problem with the 6 other pipelines going thru.

Yes they may have to have water protectors do triple Duty as sober protectors and anti-drug protectors or anti-corruption in the tribal Chief and Council protectors because that is what they have to deal with when not dealing with a pipeline issue. Native Americans and Canadians for the most part have very high unemployment gang activity High drug drive by shooting High birth rates broken families drug addictions low self-esteem, High suicide rates, and a chief and Council that is corrupt as the Panamanian government of Manuel Noriega. I know my wife talks about it here in Canada. Some tribes were self-sufficient honest but others are not and now that this pipeline issue is on hold or older, now that should focus on their internal problems that plagued most Indian reservations are Reserves.
