Very interesting. I remember marching in the main LA Anti-War rally in March 2003 in Downtown LA against the Iraq War. I even remember what I was wearing, Waterproof Acadia Danner Boots, black, 200 GM thinsulate (still have those) and a waterproof police patrol jacket, black also. Same as the ones the LAPD officers were wearing as they looked at us protestors. Good gear is good gear. Most of my fellow marchers looked liked drowned rats. Me? Call me Mr. Gortex.

I am not endorsing Trump. In fact I am still waiting for a candidate that I can feel good about endorsing. But, since Trump was not in political office at the time, he may well have been opposed to the Iraq war and not said it publicly. Hell, I was against it. As was most of my unit at the time. But we didn't shout it out from the roof tops.

According to what I read from three different sources, Trump announced his disagreement with the US invading Iraq after the war had been going on for some time, SMSgt Thor Merich.

SGT (Join to see) - I saw that also. To me that is good enough proof that he was against the war.

SMSgt Thor Merich, He jumped on the wagon after the war was already going on. His claims that he expressed he was against the war before we went into Iraq were false. It really doesn't matter to me. I always think the truth should come out when someone lies.
