I'm pretty sure I've told this before, SGT (Join to see), but here I go again. Eddy Arnold was a long time member of Brentwood (TN) Country Club. On more than one occasion, my wife and I would be seated having dinner, and the musical combo would all of a sudden start playing "Make the World Go Away"! Sure enough, we'd look toward the dining room entrance and Eddy and his wife were on their way in for dinner! He'd smile and acknowledge the musical group and glide on over to a table for dinner! It was a treat to see it happen!
Brentwood Country Club is housed in an ante bellum home called Midway and it's absolutely beautiful!
