This will be extended again after this PM. I come off duty this next week. After 9 months I have to go back to the real world.

In this day & age, we need the National Guard to monitor all federal elections...IMHO...

LTC Stephen C. - I see what you are saying, Stephen... Maybe Federal Elections should be handled by the Feds and not the states or at least overseen by the Feds and I know it might not be feasible, but something needs to be done to preclude any chance of voter fraud in the voting process by any political party, at least at the Presidential level. Voter ID is one way to tighten the process, and maybe that is the first step... Thanks for your cogent comments, Stephen...

not a bad idea, it's not needed here but sounds like a lot on areas do. How's the snow? sounds like a lot in NH and Maine

Sgt Jim Belanus - Thank you for your comments... We were on the warmer side of this storm, but that said, we had about a 4-hour period where it was all heavy snow and wind and it mounted quite rapidly... Subsequently the storm turned back to rain and washed the streets clean after the plowing that was done... It is a beautiful day in the Greater Boston Area today....

good for you glad you had no issues. I can't believe our weather, it's been in the 30's and 40's and no snow. Very unusual for this area but every once in a while, we get a break. Take care
