Another story that does not mean a whole lot. Cornell, the Russians have been hacking almost every system in the US they can. So have the Chinese, the NK's, the Iranians etc. etc. etc. That has been going on since there have been systems to hack. Prior to systems to hack they would turn people to provide them documents. It is easier to hack systems than to turn people. This should surprise no one.
What this is not is any sort of information that props of the Trump/Putin collision narrative coming out of the left today.
The Russians and others have been hacking our systems for years. Keep in mind, they would have to hack every election board in every district in every state to do anything of any consequence. There is not some "national election system" to hack. They are all kept in states/counties/precincts etc.

I strongly disagree that the story does not mean a lot.
A person with a clearance that betrays the trust given with that clearance deserves nothing but a cell for the rest of his her life.
Of course if one can get the attorney general to meet with the husband of such a person then that person can go scott free.

Capt (Join to see) - Don, I meant it did not mean a lot in the context of the fake Russian "scandal" the democrats keep pushing. Cornell thinks this is some sort of smoking gun because some loser stole classified material about Russia and the election.
She should have the book thrown at her unless she is a highly placed democrat and can get the FBI to say she didn't really know what she was doing or mean to do it etc.

Sorry, Jeff. I meant to indicate that I agreed that the story had little significance. I just posted without saying it.
But, I could not fail to point out the significance of the betrayal by a person with a TS clearance.
