The wailing and gnashing of teeth shall commence. The only thing missing is "common use". There's been a prohibition on them for so long, common use is going to be tough to establish. No doubt they'd be more common without the current restrictions. I see very few scenarios in which I would need an automatic. If you want one go for it.
