It was due to previous judge failing to disclose conflict of interest.

DISGUSTING. He probably should have faced at firing squad. The cited, "conflict of interest" on the part of the militiary judge is questionable. The guy entered a GUILTY plea and was facing LIFE; yet the judge opted for a Dishonorable Discharge in lieu of prison time, and fine in a plea bargain.
Now, the guy will be eligible for VA benefits which in itself is wrong.

I agree in getting him out as we shouldn't leave ours behind. But he did something to get himself in that situation and holding him to account was appropriate. It sounds like a F up on the military's part in the prosecution.
