Capt Dwayne Conyers Nice. My first thought was, "and how will they react when they all freeze to death?"...and then I got to the bottom of the article :P

My first thought was, "What will they eat?" And I never made it as far south on the article as you did until after I read your post... and it looks like the same story for several others here.

I fear this may not end well, especially if natural predators are disinterested in them and they begin to over populate the habitat.

Kind of reminds me of when the Brits introduced the rabbit into Australia. You'd think they'd know better.

Jack I agree, I have seen many species go from a simple response of oh they are not native here to being tagged with the invasive species tag. I realize no-one will admit to it or maybe its nobodies fault but what about; lion fish all over the caribbean, gulf of mexico, and atlantic, pythons and boas in the everglades and the list goes on and on. Very concerning

Not nice to mess with Mother Nature. Unless they find a niche in the food chain they could become a problem down the road.
