Their right-wing programming via Faux News had a longstanding deleterious effect on their critical thinking abilities. While the hearings showed them reality, it took them a loooooong time to acquire a semblance of an attachment to reality after continuous exposure to facts, as little as they allowed themselves to see and read. I'm just doubtful their core far right values will change that much though, as so many of them congregate in right wing hate groups online and continue to invent and reinforce those untruths in their heads. They remind me a lot of the growth of the Third Reich nearly a century ago--and look how that nearly destroyed the world! It's disheartening that they've thumbed their noses at the fact that our great nation led the fight against fascism in WWII, and they've inculcated that evil belief system in their core "values" in the GOP to reinforce their extreme hate towards those who want what's best for our country.

I learned a long time ago not to jump into blind trust when all prior experience and evidence should give one pause. You should try to do the same. The big problem the left has is being so quick to lay down and blindly trust others while ignoring past behaviour.
You keep doing you, and I'll do me. I'd rather err on the side of caution. That's been my medical background, and that's also my values guide.
Those fascists very nearly destroyed our nation, and I'm not about to get all fluttery about what's essentially pablum until I see a clear change in that behaviour for the long term.
While it's clear you're willing to lay right down with it, then go for it. That's your choice. Just don't apply your naivety to others--and certainly not me!

ANIL.? If Possible, Can You Tell Me Why You Voted For And Support Trump?
Since You Didn't "Jump Into Blind Trust", Why Would You Trust A Person Whom You Know Has Lied To Us All 1,000's Of Times?..
And Don't Use The "FAUX" Bull Shit, As It's Already Been Over Used.
This Is Far From The First Time You've Told Someone They're "Naive",
Simply Because They Disagreed With You;
So I'll Take That Comment "With A Grain Of Salt"....
Many Comments, Such As The Following, Are Available On Line...
Assume 95% Are NOT True. Why Would Anyone Even Associate With The Person Who's Done These Things?.....

(And You Can DEDUCT 95% For Your "Faux" Purposes):
"Final tally of lies: Analysts say Trump told 30,000 mistruths ...
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us...
Final tally of lies: Analysts say Trump told 30,000 mistruths – that’s 21 a day – during presidency. Former president made almost 21 untrue statements a day while in office, analysis suggests".

And That's The Person You Support?...
-95% = 28500 ..... 5% = 1500 Lies...
Would You Be Willing To Hand This Person The Majority Of Your Funds To Invest In His Businesses?..... Is He Trusted By You Enough To Give Him Your Money To Invest?

I was warned by others that DeVaney's not facile with the English language--that much is patently obvious--and he certainly doesn't have a clue about reading. He needs to get a McGuffey Reader and work his way up into the 5th or 6th grade. SMH
