PO1 William "Chip" Nagel, I was in Cairo in AUG87 and we watched a belly dancer perform (on one of the tourist trap trips up the Nile). Back then, the dancers were required to wear very thin netting between the upper and lower garments. Thus, the jewel placed “in” her belly button was really attached to the netting.
