More emphasis will be needed with the US Navy in Europe.
Russian invasion threat or climate change threat? Which one could happen sooner since Germany's Luftwaffe and Navy are grounded or deadlined? Hmmmm... Poland offers the USA $ 2 billion to station permanent troops there...Some in Congress and the EU say climate change while Russia has 2 divisions of troops in the Baltic area. Russia builds up their Kaliningrad salient area and more forces threaten in the Ukraine ....Let's invest in EU/NATO defense and upset Al Gore, Jane Fonda and outspoken Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez. Global cooling from Russian Agression is a more imminent threat.. The Cold War is back but some are looking at the Russians through rose colored glassses.

They may have units rotate through but Poland's offering $2 billion dollars for us to keep a brigade permanently stationed there.

CSM Charles Hayden remember President Trump was saying that the other countries need to pay their fair share. In this case, Poland is trying to subsidize us so we are the deterrence Russian invasion. The Polish haven't forgotten how Russia and Germany divided up Poland prior to invading on one September 1939. Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania were all so far that same agreement but Putin wants those three countries, now part of NATO, back under his control again as well.
