Former FARC Leaders Announce 'New Stage Of Fighting,' Upending Colombia's Peace Deal

The FARC is a serious Terrorist Group which I remember receiving weekly Intel Reports of their activites when I was in the Unit. I was sent to Columbia in 1990 with an A-Team to train and evaluate the Columbia CT Force which were Pseudo Commandos in the begining. The SF Team did an outstanding job of training. Two of us were there from the Unit to evalute before and after the MTT. The problem has been corruption of the Columbian Government at all levels. It all boils down to money, drugs, gangs and Traffickers. The FARC became a Narco-Terrorist Group in the 80's when they realized that drug money and support to the Traffickers was in their best interest. The FARC provides security and protections to the Traffickers during processing and distrubition of drugs of all types.
