you can't get fired/fined/jailed for shitty healthcare practices, fake wait lists, unclean surgical environments that lead to further health issues, and spending money like it was yours, but you CAN go to jail for beating the hell out of someone.
I guess we have to start with the lowest hanging fruit huh?

Tell me the VA isn't a money making business. I went to my primary care doctor for an aching shoulder. After a thorough check, my PA had very good suspicions that I had a torn rotator cuff. He wanted me to get an MRI. Being my deductible wasn't met I would have to pay it first. I mentioned that it was a bit much $$$ to pay. So instead I was set up with a Physical Therapist. Completed treatment and still no luck. Being the Sheriff Dept's medical insurance sucks so bad, which btw is an all new subject in it's own.
I ended up going to the VA hoping I could get an MRI and get the work done there. So I had to get a pointless blood draw and see a physician, which I explained to her my efforts up til that point with my PA. I even brought my medical records from my PA, which was pointless I guess as well. They scheduled me back for a pointless X-ray, which anyone with any common sense would tell you Xrays don't show soft tissues and muscles. Then I had to go back to the physician at a later date, then she wanted me to go back through Physical Therapy. Which again, I told her I already completed 3 weeks of already. She made me go through it again which ended me back with her only to have me then get an MRI, which BTW shown that I had a torn rotator cuff. FML! So a month later finally had the surgery followed up with more Physical Therapy. SMH!
