Your correct see my comments above concerning what is in the clip in regards to misleading reporting. It is a political hit piece and counts on the reader just to listen to the clip and not research either side in the clip.

I don't like Hannity either but your comparing apples and oranges here. One is a syndicated political commentator and the other is a news anchor that likes to comment. Two different jobs. Shepard is supposed to only report the facts. Hannity is allowed to interpret and comment on the facts. I am rather leary of believing Shepard as he comments too much and much of his comments are incorrect. For example Shepard says in the above clip that waterboarding is torture according to the Army Field Manual but neglected to say that was only included with the 2006 Army Field Manual rewrite (initiated by Senator McCain) long after the whole controversy was blown up by the media and investigated by Congress. Waterboarding was NOT specifically prohibited by Army Field Manaul written previously (1992) which I believe they were using at the time of 9-11. That would have been the accurate way to report it but Shepard did not choose the accurate way he choose the opposing viewpoint way.........so he is crossing the line as a reporter by using a misleading method vs factual method of reporting, IMV. It was a deliberate choice on Shepard Smith's part and not an accident. A lot of other statements by Shepard are also very misleading and this is why a good chunk of Americans mistrust the media because they allow the large loopholes in facts of their reporting to be exploited by the political commentators.
