Being of Polish heritage, this anniversary each year reminds me of the disdain Hitler had for those of us of Slavic descent. It is certain that’ I lost relatives in the death camps, as I have several Roman Catholic priests in my lineage, and I inherited my propensity to speak my mind from someone....contrary to American stereotypes, Poles are not stupid and don’t appreciate being controlled. From Hitler to Stalin, these were not good times for Poland, which had just returned to the map of Europe after WWI, and everything possible to erase Poland from history were failures.

I led 2 English Bible Camps in Poland in 2010 and 2011. The country is prospering with freedom, consumer goods (and traffic) is everywhere now and there is an excellent chance forPoland to have a long history of not being dominated by Germans or Russians.
