When stationed at Travis AFB and getting a few days off with no Funeral details scheduled. Well not for our Flight anyway ., I’d get the music box and head to one of the beaches.. Call a fellow female NCO
and see if she’d like to go.. occasionally I’m fortunate.. I had some hour cassettes with the BBs
(Yep, made myself..)... Muir Woods beach was not a great beach but was quiet. Not a lot of people.. it had some stones scattered .. I got there and a sign posted about undertows.. no thx !
We didn’t go deep enough to get caught up. But it doesn’t take much . So we had a lunch , listened to some Beach boys ..
then packed it up and went back to base the back way..
and see if she’d like to go.. occasionally I’m fortunate.. I had some hour cassettes with the BBs
