It could be that Republicans are intent on skirting the regulations that government employees are tasked with enforcing. Just look at the environmental stuff donnie has undone for the 1 per centers.

There is a vast array of federal workers some of whom you rarely see or deal with until needed. What seems to drive the issues is that governmental regulations and policies also seem to put binders on progress in some endeavors or obstructs a few progressive technologies. The Republican party is very much falsely placing blame on federal employees for Congressional failings of foresight. Congress is the approving authority of laws and federal regulations that the various agencies are charged with administering. As an aside, I was both an Army Reservist and Federal Employee, I understand how some Federal positions can appear as a waste of taxpayers monies. But Congressional pork barrel policies are more wasteful when one observes programs that the DoD wants to cut or reduce, and Congressmen keep to show Constituents and Lobbyists that they are working for them.

The Gov't labor union spend vast amounts of money on the Democratic Party. Of course, the Dem promote more Gov't. I want the Gov't smaller. There should be a 10% labor reduction for at least every two years.
