So a black officer stopped the violence? This is the type of stuff they need to broadcast because I have heard of other instances where black men and women helped stop violence or saved the arses of the white troops and officers......why cant they show that these men are more abundant than the pockets of thugs they show?

Short answer, because to place/label a Minority in anything other than a victim stereotype defeats the propaganda that they are Victims. The moment you show an empower, rational thinking, takes responsibility for their own actions minority member you undermine the leftist agenda.
We have had many Minority's commit many acts of Valor in all branches of service, out side of the Military you will not hear them spoke of.

CPO (Join to see) - I know the answer it was a rhetorical answer, it is the same reason why they are trying to make the peaceful demonstrators of NoDAPL look violent, but they know we have the full video of what they tried to take snippets of.....Thank you for answering for those that may not know. I myself am a religious minority but also a minority that doesn't "look the part" when it comes to being Native American!

This is not exactly the same thing but similar. In 1964 in Subic Bay there were race riots for 2 nights in hanger bay 1 of Bon Home Richard(CVA 31). The first night was bad enough that for the second night we had an extra detachment of marines on board. I was duty PO of W1 Div. that first night and it got a little bit rough in the berthing compartment but everybody was pretty well in control by then.
