NJ didn’t learn from California. Years ago, California enacted a mandatory assault rifle registration program. The State was actually shocked when very few folks came in to register their Assault Rifles. I didn’t own a rifle that met the designation of “assault rifle” but many of my fellow law enforcement friends did. I was surprised when none of them registered their rifles. They saw the law for what it was, the beginning of total banning and confiscation of Assault Rifles.

It seems like the good citizens of NJ know a bad law when they see it and refuse to buy into the governments attempt to get around the 2nd Amendment.
