“No NATO for Ukraine.” That was a much-needed and wise move by Trump’s SecDef pick, Pete Hegseth. A decision the previous administration wouldn’t make. In like manner, Hegseth stood resolute on Trump’s wise decision to ban Trans from the military. In his memo, the Sec of Defense said :
“The Department must ensure it is building ‘One Force’ without subgroups defined by anything other than ability or mission adherence. Efforts to split our troops along the lines of identity weaken our Force and make us vulnerable. Such efforts must not be tolerated or accommodated.”

I don't have a problem with Ukraine becoming a NATO member, but it would have to be well after any ceasefire.
