For you who are against gun ownership I am sorry I will not give up mine. As far as modifying a gun to fire full auto it is harder than it people think. I personally do not or would not attempt this. The sounds of the firing are definitely full auto. I heard he had 10 rifles in the room. He was a regular at Mandalay Bay. Now it has come.e out that his father was a serious criminal.

1. There are actual tutorial's on the internet on how to alter the sear on AR series rifles to make them full auto. 2. No one is against gun ownership, period. But things like this and Sandy Hook do make some of us feel that tighter gun regulations need to be enacted. 3. What does his fathers past criminal history have to do with this?

SFC Thomas Butler - don't know. They are just reporting that. He was a typical capitalist from all I can see. His girlfriend was from the Philippines. He loved to gamble and had numerous real estate holdings. His father has been described as a psychopath. That's all I know. I sure it will all be researched adnasium. With his father being a member of the criminal elements, they/ he would have know the contacts to obtain illegal firearms. I remember reading earlier that his father was a member of the the mob/organized crime. If you want something illegal talk to a criminal and you don't have to worry about the pesky legal paperwork.

Just remember that if you have a firearm, you are a free person. If you don't have a firearm, then you are only one signature away from being a slave/subject.If you say that it will never happen here, THINK. Ruby Ridge, Waco, the Japanese Internment Camps of WWII, the fact that the Japanese did not want to invade the USA because they believed that there would be a gun behind every blade of grass, more recently Iraq, Afghanistan (under the ACM), North Korea, the old East Germany, and the old USSR. These are just a few incidents of no firearms and having firearms could/can make a difference. I will never give up the one that I have.

PO1 Tony Holland I Know the Vast Majority of "Gun Owners" are Responsible but a Gun Allows You to Conduct Mass Murder Like No Other Tool. I Know that I have Lost 2 Friends to Suicide by Gun, None to "Other Means" and Talk about an Excellent Tool to Use Conduct "Suicide by Cop" Guaranteed You Pull a Gun on a Cop. PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - I can understand you choice not to own a gun. I respect and support your choice. I got my first gun when I was 12, with the exception of a shooting which was deemed a legal shoot when I was a cop, none of my weapons have never taken a human life. I am from a more rural environment and currently farm/ranch. Last year we lost 8 hear of livestock to wild dogs and/or coyotes. I carry a rifle in the truck with me religiously, this is my choice.
