I had to have a wisdom tooth removed, the Army dentist had his knee in my chest tugging with both hands and was complaining that I was not holding my head still.

My Dad, who is now 95 had a few problems that rose from a Navy Dentist during WWII. Years later He had a tooth that started bothering him, it seems a filling a Navy dentist has put in He first stuffed the cavity with cotton the put the filling material over it. A civilian Dentist found that the cotton was rotting inside the tooth. It seems there were a few shortcuts taken during the war that made later problems that being an example of one. On the other hand, I've never had a problem with an Air Force Dentist but My Dad decided to ahve any dental problem I may have had taken care of before I went into the service, He said You just never know Who may be in Your mouth. One thing was I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed before going in by one of the top oral surgeons in the United States. That Dentist was prior Navy but His service was as a fighter pilot, not a Dentist.
