You know when I see stuff like this where the liberal press is looking for anything they can to slam President Trump I have to wonder if they even asked those who they profile what they thought of what he said. I don't think they did simply because if they did it would be in CAP. Those who came here they did so for a reason, THEY WERE HOPING TO GET OUT OF THE SHIT HOLE THEY LIVED IN. It seems to me that it's not the immigrants who are upset, it's the liberals who are looking for anything they can to make President Trump look bad. If it walks like a duck, has web feet, and goes quack, then it's a DUCK. How about working with the President and make this Country Great Again. Cpl Alan Mackin,Cynthia Croft,SGT David A. SSG Michael Hartsfield I did do something about it, I voted for the person I felt had the best chance of getting that done. Someone who wasn't mired with political baggage and backroom deals to get elected. If you would take the time to look at what he is doing and not what he is saying (He's not a Politician) and I fail to see why anyone in their right mind would volunteer to do what he's doing knowing that this is what he was going to get.

Cpl Scott McCarroll - No, I did not vote for him, nor did I vote for HRC. I thought both were awful candidates. I did believe that HRC at least knew how government works, but could not morally vote for either. You seem to think DT ran on his own money--not. He was funded by big donations just like everyone else. That's why there are so many rich, former Wall Street business types on his cabinet. I do not consider that DT was better qualified because he is a successful businessman--he started off with $14B from his Dad, has gone bankrupt something like 6 times, and has cheated his workers when he did. I understand that it's a disheartening system, but it's even more disheartening that we seem to have evolved into two parties that don't just have different ideologies, which is good, but now considers anyone who criticizes decisions against their world view as evil, which is ridiculous. I still believe we have people who can come to some common sense immigration decisions--at least I hope so. It's not one side is right and the other is wrong--both have good points. It's called compromise and it seems we as a country have lost the ability to do that. Don't you worry about that deficit--Ryan has already said the corporate tax cut will generate such huge growth that it will make up the difference. Yes, that's a little sarcasm, but he really did say that.

Cpl Scott McCarroll - No, I did not say that. However, I don't think we are as bad off as Trump & friends imply.

Cpl Scott McCarroll - I think you have a good point about people coming here legally, but let's don't ever base it on color, creed, or religion, or the country they came from.

I already respect non-white contributors, so when people (the MSM in this case) go out of their way to publish stuff like this, it does nothing more than make me think they're elevating them above other contributors. And that makes me resent them, creating an adversary where they had none before. This phenomenon is endemic to the left's entire method of everything. It's why, despite the fact that I actually hold a LOT of the left's viewpoints (I believe in equality, and I don't give two shits who you marry, for example), I will never identify as left or dem. They continually tell me I'm an asshat because I don't PERFECTLY dovetail their positions, or alternatively, that I'm so stupid and uninformed that I need an article like this to tell me that there's non-white contributors.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - "The only thing that all the migrants from all those countries have in common is the skin color of the a majority of popultion." No that is not the only thing they have in common.

The vast majority coming from those under-developed nations have a low skills sets and no or meaningless education credentials. They can and do change that situation by legal entry through other means. For instance they can come here on an academic visa. In many cases we, the American taxpayer, are paying the cost of their tuition books and fees. Or we the American consumer are paying their tuition books and fees, indirectly through the patronage of businesses that offer international scholarships. Then they can go back to their country and compete in merit based immigration programs on a level playing field with anyone from any country.

We do not need to import more economically disadvantaged low skill set workers. We have more than enough of our own homegrown.
