WOW! I just went from birth to 1994!
Love Fame! The Entire first Movie/Series!
Lunch ladies? Catholic Schools have ‘Nuns’ aka Penguins with wooden rulers!? LOL
Always ‘brought brown bag’ lunch from home. Remember crates with bottles, then little cartons of milk!
1968 in Raleigh NC I still brought lunch to Public Junior High & still had little cartons of milk!
High School 1971-1974...’Hippie’ who smoked, so little cartons of Chocolate milk and off to ‘smoking area’ with Friends! (Smoking in the ‘boys room’ wasn’t cigarettes?!)
Fast forward to post Military & Grad School..,
MCB Camp LeJeune in Jacksonville NC:
Russell Elementary School (DOD) on MCB!
Now Lunch Ladies!
Awesome women who knew how to cook! The Play Morning’ I hosted was in their Cafeteria. I will NEVER forget those homemade cinnamon buns! $.25 per cinnamon bun size of my hand!
My Irish Grandmothet, who died in 1932, birthed eight kids!
One girl & 7 boys! My Father was youngest boy!
Oldest was Aunt Marie. 6 of 7 Greene Men served on Active Duty during WWII, including My Father.
Have a photo of 4 Uncles ( 2 Army & 2 Army Air Corps) in Italy during WWII.
My Uncle: Ensign Eugene A. Greene was part of Squadron 6! They ‘took out’ Yamamoto’s Ship at Battle of Midway.
USS Eugene A. Greene, Destroyer Escort is named for My Uncle. He ‘Gave All’ during Midway, which was turning point of WWII, 4 or 5 months after Pearl Harbor.
Totally ‘off topic’! However, got lost in Fame videos & I am now going to bed!
Awesome Music Shares Brother Chip! We could get into serious ‘trouble’ together! LOL
Thanks for the Musical “walk down memory lane”!
