I wonder if they will investigate the groups and radio shows and internet sites that radicalized this guy. Or call for monitoring of the people who espouse such beliefs. But I doubt it. He's white, and a christian, and the target of their hate is minorities like homosexual and Jews. So he'll just be labeled a crazy loner as all white christian gunman are. No need to concern ourselves with those who spew the hate that affects the minds of people like this. Of course, if he were a muslim American, there would be calls to put the FBI in every mosque and encouragement of neighbors to monitor muslim neighbors.
But since he's a white christian, none of that will happen, the hate groups will go on unchallenged by the right, and in fact they might even elect a presidential candidate who not so subtly feeds into their narrative about how everything wrong with their lives is the blame of an ever increasing list of "others".
Here's a few quotes of the shooter. Does anyone really think PTSD somehow makes you hate Jews and homosexuals, and Walmart, or was he radicalized? But I bet there is little to no examination of that, and he will be excused away as another victim of war.
"Y'all calm down. I'm not going to kill y'all, y'all are Christians," Paris Nichols said, recalling the words of the shooter, who was identified Monday by a Houston Police Department source as 25-year-old Dionisio Garza III from San Bernardino County, California.
Railing against homosexuals, Jews, and Walmart, Garza then walked back toward his car to grab an AR-15 assault rifle, yelling that the world was coming to an end. Nichols, 42, who has owned Memorial Hand Car Wash for the past 13 years, seized the opportunity to escape. Grabbing his wife's hand, they sprinted across the street to a Chase Bank and jumped a residential wall.

Sounds like he got involved with a hate group. As messed up as he apparently was, it wouldn't take much to set him off. Then again, he could have been a lone shooter acting out his fantasy. I'm pretty sure that group will be checked out. There have been a lot of shooters lately, shooting at the police.

Another fine soldier that was swept under rug, more then likely by the VA, that probably could have been given help.

I agree with that SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth. If his dad knew he was acting crazy and having hallucinations, he could have tried to help him more.

Yes it is. I saw it on the news last night that the shooter had been identified, and when they showed his picture, I was very saddened. I told my wife it probably had something to do with PTSD.
