I find it hard to believe that those of use who serve/served can be hoodwinked when it comes to leadership. We've seen it, the good and the bad. We've labored under both kinds. How can anyone look at President Obama's record and claim that it exemplifies good leadership? And it's not surprising. He had no experience to draw upon. None. Not in civilian life or military or politics. How important is experience? Think back. Remember the buck sergeants and butter bars you have known. Sure, President Obama came to the Oval Office with a couple terms as a legislator, one at the state level and one at the federal level. Now look at his record there. In most cases, he voted "Present". Not a "Yea". Not a "Nay". "Present". What does that mean? He couldn't make a simple decision. He ran from responsibility. So, no. I'm not going to look in his direction to see what "leadership looks like".

As I read it, I believe this is about the leadership shown by both men now, in this time, in this crisis not about their history.

SGT (Join to see) - If you actually wanted to understand what I wrote, you would. If you wanted to understand the quotes around "Facts", you would. I said what I meant and meant what I said. Why should I waste time repeating myself. And I understand you perfectly, thus there is no need to waste your time.

CPT Jack Durish - For sure. But to recap, you’ve had several opportunities to counter the information I provided with actual facts and statistics. You’ve declined, and I think we both know why.
To recap. You wrote, “In most cases, he voted "Present"..”. He voted ‘present’ 129 times out of over 4000 votes. (3.2%). Unless you define 3.2% as ‘most’, your statement is nonsense. That has nothing to do with political ideology.
You wrote, “What does that mean? He couldn't make a simple decision. He ran from responsibility. So, no. I'm not going to look in his direction to see what "leadership looks like". You correlate voting record to leadership. So I provided some (lousy) recent voting records of US Senators with whom you align ideologically.
This has nothing to do with my political views. However, by calling the statistics on missed votes by Republicans an attack, as opposed to holding them to the same standards of leadership that you held to then-state Senator Obama, you simply expose your own hypocrisy.
*ill also REstate. “I’d ask you who the top two senators from the 115th Congress were for missed votes. I’ll even give you a hint. They’re not Republicans.”
You’re not wasting my time; I’m a big fan of the truth. But I’ll state it again...if any of the information I’ve presented is incorrect, feel free to provide to actual facts.
Good luck to you
