I spent last ‘spring break’ at MCAS Beaufort. These pilots are amazing and this ‘new’ aircraft will definitely be put to the test! Great Share PO1 William "Chip" Nagel!

Having dealt with both, there is little difference. Well Marine pilots fly a little bit crazier, but both are fabulous flier/fighters.

LCDR (Join to see) I actually parked at the control tower and watched night flights! I would agree Marine pilots “fly a little but crazier”; they are all amazing to watch!LCDR (Join to see)

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel Talk about multi-tasking... it's amazing. Maj. Michael Watts was a 3rd generation pilot. F-35 B only needs a couple hundred feet to takeoff. On the "Button Mode" it takes off on it's own... once up they go back to manual . Their helmet cost $400,000.00 & is made specifically for each pilot.

My problem with the whole program is the inflated cost per aircraft. Lockheed has priced the plane so high that customers are bailing out of purchases. UK has cut their purchase by half because of the unit price.
Now we’re starting to hear about performance limitations on the B and C models. WTFO?
