I loved em. I don't drink energy drinks stateside, but I drank my share of Ripits. Towards the end of deployment at the end of 2014 they disappeared. I wondered if we just ran out, or if the DOD decided they weren't good for soldiers.

just think if they drank those ripits and took the caffeine gum to stay up 36 hours straght maybe they were too fatigued and dehydrated?

Being that any diuretic is bad in a hot environment like NTC, Iraq or Afghanistan, I avoid energy drinks. It seems that smokers and those out of shape at my job UPS are all into other energy drinks but if the just worked out and rested properly they would not really need it! If I have to get up really early for CGSOC, I drink a Dr. Pepper or a Starbucks bottle from Walmart.

LTC (Join to see), I've never had any energy drinks, and that includes Red Bull. Of course, I retired in MAY98!
