Laptop aside. What we had was the son of a sitting VP, a son with a history of drug abuse and erratic behavior, working for foreign company in a foreign land. Being paid an a salary that far exceeded his qualifications. There is no doubt in my mind that the intelligence community was had eyes on target and were reporting to his father, the then VP, as a potential national security risk.
Young Biden is a troubled man who has battled his demons without much success. But that doesn't make him any less responsible for his actions. Nor does it absolve anyone involved in covering it up.
