Nope not shocking at all. US allied itself with a Stalin led Russia. Like making a deal with the devil. We didn’t care about the consequences.

I just thought it was interesting. What kind of funny is that Vladimir Putin is mad that the Baltic states of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania broke away from the USSR but yet they were negotiated away and secret between Stalin and Hitler before the invasion of Poland on one September 1939. It's funny how Russia also wants Poland back to but pulling was stolen as well when the Russians invaded Poland a few weeks later.

If We Knew what the Bomb would do and Used it this Is Nothing Comparatively Speaking.

Yes, I'm well aware that we were being pressured by Stalin to take pressure off of his forces and that's why we invaded with and French forces in Operation Torch, also called The Invasion North Africa, and later on the Italian front and later at Normandy. Yes, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
