I understand, Gulen is an Intellectual, Probably one of the Leading Philosophers of this Age, He set up an Education System in Turkey and even schools here in the US. A one time Ally of Erdogan that turned against him. I have read quite a bit of Gulen's writing and I am a Fan. He is referred to as a "Cleric" but he is most definitely not the Typical Islamic Cleric, He Wears suits and ties, no beard. He came here supposedly for treatment of his Heart Condition and has stayed. I hope we never consider handing him over.

LTC (Join to see) - Actually their was some stink about the DOD Schools systems using some of his Material and Techniques. He will say that he is a Muslim but his writing and teachings seem to have more in Common with Ghandi and MLK, It may be based in his own version of Islam but more a Philosophy of Love and Respect. Nothing like Wahabism, Nor Shia, More Enlightened Sufi. If I'm not mistaken his Tribal Roots are with what once was the "Assasins" of Legend but all I have heard out of him is Peace, Love and Respect.
