COL (Join to see) The lady friend and I usually enjoy one trip a year thru Joshua Tree National Park. We always hope to photograph some of the delicate, short-lived, spring flowers. We will enjoy complementary admittance for that annual visit.
The tall, Ocotillo plant sometimes blooms several times a year, depending on available water.

SSG Samuel Kermon - Sadly, the only good memories of snow for me come from my childhood in the fifties when the local city hospital paid us kids a good wage (in cash )to shovel the many stairs and walks, also threw in breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria (got me used to Mess hall food) after that, all down hill for me ,hate the stuff ,be well Brother,Phil

SPC Benjamin Hartog - bottom line: those men and women who chose to place their lives on the line to protect the Constitution, Nation, and loved ones are not "ordinary". you mention many of my heroes but my reply is a discussion perhaps best suited to the messaging as your interesting post on gender in the military does not really match the joy of our nation finally recognizing all veterans access to our Nation"s incredible wealth of natural beauty. will send you a reply by this weekend.
