Here is a flashback to 1978. Iran has F-14As and they have F4 Phantoms and others planes they have been crafty to reengineer or buy parts from the black market. Good ODP for USAF and NAVY/Marine Pilots for ID purposes. Oh, I am so scared LOL! They also got planes that flew to escape our forces in 2 wars!

Yep and I handled the Messages where we sold them Repair Parts for all those Weapons Systems during the Reagan Administration. Also had the Pleasure of Tracking a US Made P-3 Maritime Recon Plane that they were still using in 96 from it's airfield right out to our Ship to do a little Pass and Review.

Thanks for sharing the Iranian propaganda film LTC (Join to see). I expect that you remember in 1978 Iran was an ally of us when Shah Pahlavi was their leader until 1979. We supported them with Foreign Military Sales which is why Iran had F-14As and F4 Phantoms to begin with.
