Iran gradually moving toward resumed military ties with Europe

Believe it or not, it was the Canadians not the British who helped get those 6 Americans that were not captured initially by The Assault on the embassy. The British did not want to help us and the Canadian government did. The movie Argo came out about the same week that the Canadian and Iranian diplomatic relations we're broken or severed. In the latest United Nations vote condemning the United States wishing to move its Embassy to Jerusalem, Canada abstained and England voted for the resolution. So we know who our friends are. England is not really our friend even though they are a NATO member.

The Italians hopefully won't get screwed over being too nice to Iran. Iran is pissed off the Canadians. Canada never broke off relations with communist Cuba even though Kennedy was really ticked off. So I don't know why the Italians are so interested when the Canadians were fed up with it.

Canada is not afraid to kick out the Iranians for threatening them in meddling with expatriates in Canada. Canada got so fed up with this if they closed the Iranian Embassy in 2012. Even under liberal prime minister Trudeau, the embassy Still Remains closed.
