One tough lady. I was training for a 1/2/Ironman. I live in Augusta and the heat is brutal and humidity is terrible. I trained ne year and quite, I couldn’t fnush long runs etc because of the heat. On run and swim days I would finish my runs and cramp up in the pool. The next year I decided I would simply keep going regardless. I was doing a long run and had a mile and a half to go and simply ran out of gas. I dragged myself the last bit. It was at this point I posted on the Triclub web site and got questions about protein intake, electrolytes etc. I was lead to a product line called hammer. What a difference. I was retired. I don’t know how people with jobs, raising kids married etc find times to train. Hats off to our Iron Lady, Brea Northup!
