Is this unit the future of Army combat formations?

It seems to be aimed at the Light Fighter Brigades, and they already deploy quickly and we are pretty good at it after 23 years. What concerns me is a Near Peer Conflict, in which case the Light Units are of limited value. Now all my Infantry time was in Light and Air Assault units, but if you had stuck me in the Fulda Gap with the Soviets/Warsaw Pact pouring over the Border, I would have much rather served with 1st Cav or the 3rd ID.
