SPC Greg Carr - I have actually read the Quran (English translation) from cover to cover. Although any true Muslim would say that is not the same thing. But I do not speak or read Arabic. I have also had friendships with Muslim clerics and laymen. I will not tell you that I am an expert but I have had discussion with learned Muslims and think I have some understanding of nuances of which the typical non-Muslim may not be aware.
