We should have destroyed this group years ago before they were able to get this powerful. Now the genie is out it might never go back in.

We did a number on them and they were about 400 scattered ASG even 5 years back.... and then we declared victory three years back and pulled up camp. Such is now not a CT operation as before.. and this is but the start for SE Asia of something very different.

Good morning LTC,

I read a few weeks ago about this town being attacked by those who believe in the one true god of the Kaaba and Muhammad's command to build a Caliphate. Perhpas, in this case Sunni.

I was not aware though, hundreds of ISIS members from fighing in Iraq and Syria were part of the fight. But, I am aware a % of the Ummah is actively engaged in open warfare with the world.

As the American government supported the Iraqi government who are mostly aliened with Iran pushing ISIS into Syria caused a larger problem. Then, trying to destroy completely ISIS in Syria has caused them to flee to other parts of the world. I worte this would happen.

The understanding of the issue has to change. Islam is not going to change. It can not as long as Muhammad is the center of it's religion and political system. Muhammad who raped and murdered whom they follow commanded the Ummah to build a Caliphate.

My guess, the world supported Caliph in Turkey (Sunni) is too much in bed with the west. So, ISIS did not come over to their side? I bet, I am not far off on that issue.

So, give them a patch of dirt. Otherwise, they spread across the globe. The Madrassas and Mosques are going to continue their hate on Shia, Infidels and Jews. Contained them in one spot. Plus, deport any Imam preaching hate. Any Muslim giving support to an Islamic terrorist take their property and strip them of their green card and stop Islamic immigration into this country. Otherwise, it will be like Europe here.

Have a good day Sir,

M. Morris RVT

I figure there to be a dozen or more in the mix of the fight from elsewhere... maybe up to 20 when all is said and done and bodies ID'd. Now we spent years looking for just a couple of Indonesians that had come in when this group was AQ... years. So this is very different. Its time to get off the CT band wagon and fight IS for what it is - a revolutionary movement. For two years we have been seeing it - and playing the same cards as before... and we lost that hand outright. Underestimated the enemy in the Middle East - and in SEA. There are no short term answers for a revolutionary movement that is global... only long term.

LTC Eric Udouj - Sir,
Why do you use revolutionary? Why not gorilla war for a religion/political system? Or, insurgency? America revolted against a King. ISIS is an act of war against the world system.
I don't mind that it fights against a world system that is evil. But, ISIS is a child of it. Revolution Sir?

Cpl Mark A. Morris - For a decade we have been looking at organizations and labeling by their actions and not the organization structure they are. We labeled IS a terrorist group... even though they are much more past just terror cells. They have a revolutionary ideology - religious in aspects on the front end- and are now global insurgents. It is not a guerilla war they are waging in the fore front - it is insurgency and guerilla warfare and such is but one application of a tactical stratagem in it.
