PO1 William "Chip" Nagel thanks for the share and read, after all he had been through.
I think he was a bit of humanity for him,” Jennifer says of Brian. “A reminder of home and of us.”
Looking back, Jennifer believes the Afghanistan trip was a turning point.
“I think he was maintaining until then, and then the stress of being away and not having his schedules – that was the point where he couldn’t.”

So tragic. I see it every week here at EvolutionaryHealer.com. Repetitive Behavior Cellular Regression stops the drivers behind PTS, Suicide Ideation and other repetitive behaviors without counseling, or therapy, or meds and no office visits over the internet.

As a fellow veteran diagnosed with an Incurable "Brain Disease", I can somewhat understand.
When you go to sleep at night, you think to yourself, "when I wake up in the morning, will I be able to see?, will I have feelings in my legs/arms/feet?" To say the least, it really is a "roller coaster" ride. People say "Oh, you look so healthy", but the do not know I see triple vision out of my right eye, my legs give out (or sometimes do not work at all), I spill or drop things on a daily basis "oh, you are such a clutz". While eating, I have to concentrate on chewing and swallowing do I do not choke or aspirate while eating.................yea, it is a JOY!!
That being said, I thank GOD every day the Veteran's Administration Hospital has a TERRIFIC TBI center in Minneapolis, MN. I get visits by my Doctor's and Nurses at my home. I am BLESSED to have a family who understands (or attempt to understand) why I need naps after being awake for four hours due to extreme fatigue!
To other TBI Veterans - I say my prayers for you every day, along with saying MY prayers every night when I go to bed....... May God Heal you and help, and may he give you the strength to persevere.
