It's become a "thing" to blame men for all the violence issues. They have a part to play in it but so do women.

I don’t agree with his premise that men think of gender violence is a “women’s issue.” I don’t know any man that thinks that way. Men that abuse women get gratification from the abuse of power over others. It’s not a sexual thing. It’s no different than a bully on the schoolyard.
I view it as a predator and prey issue. Bad guys are predators and they will always victimize weaker folks. Men that abuse women are bad guys.
There will always be bad folks out there. To deny that fact is to deny human nature. From the beginning of time, there was always a small segment of society who prey on others. Ignoring the fact that there are bad guys out there (and always will be) and trying to emasculate men is not the answer.
What I found fascinating is that the folks he mentioned in his speech that are famous for abusing women (Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby) are liberals. Many liberals have different moral values than conservatives. They tend not to believe in your basic Christian tenants. A good Christian man will not abuse a woman (in any fashion) because it’s wrong. Plain and simple. But liberals view of wrong and right differ than that of conservatives. Liberals don’t use the word Honor because it has no meaning to them. Back in the olden days, men held open doors for women, stood up when a women entered the room, paid for her meals, etc. But all that went away under the misguided approach of liberals.
The answer is simple. Punish bad guys and teach folks how not to be victims. Bad guys only prey on the weak. More folks (including women) need to be taught how to defend themselves and become victims.
