Jails are embracing video-only visits, but some experts say screens aren't enough

While I think video is good, in its place, nothing replaces the personal one on one.

I am not sorry for what I am about to say. The reason I say that is becasue people often start off a comment with I am sorry but...not this time. Jail is a punishment...it is supposed to be harsh and not comfortable. It is supposed to make you realize what you have done and that if you ever get out you won't do it again. If you get a visit then great use the system that is in place...if it is video, then embrace the time...if you are allowed a face to face then awesome...but whatever theyuse is there for a reason....it wasn't just put in place out of lets be mean and cruel it provides safety for the prison, guards, and the families.
