It's nice to know that MacArthur gave one of the pens to General Wainwright who was as skinny as a rail being in the prison camp for so long and also the British general who surrendered Singapore in 1941 or early 1942 also got a pen. That was evil Joy and very caring of General MacArthur.

It's not such a bad thing it helps keep the peace. The idea of globalization was to give every country the ability to have economic stakes in another countries prosperity giving a economic incentive to pursue peaceful avenues of debate and discourse. Like our relations with China if it wasn't for our economic relations we would be complete enemies but right now our economic relations encourage China to be some what agreeable.
