I was just at Universal Studios Hollywood last week and they told us on the Universal Studios tour that's the shark was rushed to production before being tested and that most of the Jaws controls malfunctioned or didn't work at all. It's amazing they were able to get it to sort of work. Universal Studios got rid of The Parting of the Red Sea.
