Jim Nabors - Impossible Dream

Good Sunday morning RP... As I read COL Mikel J. Burroughs Quote of the day, I thought, what a wonderful way to end one month and begin another... In so doing, I was scanning videos and came across my included video... Many of you will remember "Gomer Pyle" the sometimes crazy Marine Corps Private with a meaningful comment to one of Sergeant Carter's inane comments, trying to make a Marine out of "Pyle"... Well, this man had much more to offer humanity than just "Gomer Pyle"... I chose to include the whole video skit and song, because of the strong message it gives all of us who are in or were in the Military... I ask you indulgence to watch this from beginning to end.... BTW, RIP Jim Nabors, 1930-2017. A brilliant actor with a phenomenal voice!!!
